Jánosik and Partners Ltd. has won the contract for the operation of buildings, structures, building electrical and mechanical equipment, and wastewater treatment plants at the stations of one of the largest fuel filling networks for three years, said Jánosik Lajos, owner of Jánosik and Partners Ltd.
Jánosik Ltd. was selected as the most suitable partner for the client through a call for tenders and four rounds of negotiations. The newly won works area covers the whole of the country east of the Danube, except Pest county. In total, they will have to maintain and clean up the image elements of 167 service stations covering an area of around 40,000 square metres.
The maintenance of service stations places special demands on the maintenance staff. Due to the specific nature of the work and the risk of fire and explosion in the environment, the work requires increased attention after appropriate training. In many cases it requires the use of special tools, such as non-sparking tools. A total of 40-45 workers are employed and subcontractors are also involved in the work. A dedicated management team has been set up to manage the work.
It is interesting to note that when Jánosik and Partners Ltd., one of the market leaders in cleaning services, was established 21 years ago, its first assignment was also the maintenance of petrol stations. Last year, the sector's turnover reached HUF 2 billion, which corresponds to more than 10 percent of the company's total turnover.
